Symposium Details:
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) of China and Traditional Unani Medicine (TUM) of Pakistan are two major important traditional medical systems in the world. In the thousands of years of combating diseases, both have accumulated rich clinical practice experience and a large number of effective traditional pharmaceutical products, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding the health of the people in China and Pakistan.
China and Pakistan are embracing new strategic opportunities in the field of international cooperation on traditional medicines. To promote international cooperation in the R&D of TCM and Unani medicine, deepen exchanges and collaboration between China and Pakistan in the field of traditional medicine, and further enhance the capacity and level of traditional medicine in serving the health of the two peoples, we plan to hold the 2026 China-Pakistan International Symposium on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Unani Medicine & the Launching Ceremony of the Zhejiang-Pakistan Joint Laboratory for Herbal Medicine Research and Development. Representatives from competent authorities, hospitals, universities, research institutes and enterprises engaged in the traditional medicine sector in China and Pakistan are cordially invited to attend the event. Enterprises in related fields are welcome to participate in the exhibition and exchange activities.
