COMSTECH Executive Committee

In the Thirtieth meeting of COMSTECH Executive Committee held on May 30, 2016 at the COMSTECH Secretariat, Islamabad, Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Mamnoon Hussain, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Chairman of COMSTECH approved the new Executive Committee of COMSTECH for a four-year term which is composed of:

H.E. Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)

H.E. Coordinator General, Standing Committee on Scientific & Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH)

Nominees of relevant member states, including Representative of the current Chairman of the Islamic Summit and Representative of the OIC 2^nd Summit on S&T

The following Member States are currently members of the COMSTECH Executive Committee:

Functions of Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the executive arm of COMSTECH and it:

• Assists the General Assembly to carry out its statutory responsibilities
• Implements decisions and directives of the General Assembly
