Introduction

The Islamic world is very diverse, comprising of mainly developing countries, which are in various stages of socio-economic development, S&T, and innovation capacity. As science progresses, the current research topics touch many fields of expertise requiring interdisciplinary skills. In this scenario, researchers and scientists working in all fields of natural sciences have to indulge themselves in research and development to produce products for national needs.

Incorporating the most recent changes in healthcare, regulations, Standards, and technology, the field of biomedical engineering seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine, combining the design and problem-solving skills of engineering with medical biological sciences to advance health care treatment, including diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy and also  involves equipment manufacturing, standardization, routine testing, and preventive maintenance.
