This collaborative initiative between OIC-COMSTECH and Revive Medical Technologies (RMT) offers a premier opportunity for fresh graduates and postgraduates from OIC member states to immerse themselves in a high-tech medical innovation hub.

Revive Medical Technologies (RMT) is a premier, U.S.-based MedTech organization operating a sophisticated, state-of-the-art Research, Development, and Manufacturing hub in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Objectives:

The COMSTECH–RMT Industrial Internship Program is designed to facilitate high-level knowledge transfer and capacity building. The primary objectives include:

Providing hands-on industrial exposure in a world-class R&D environment.
Developing technical proficiency in medical device fabrication and testing.
Training participants in international quality management and regulatory compliance.
Fostering long-term scientific collaboration between OIC academia and the MedTech industry.

Research and Training Focus Areas

Interns will be integrated into one of the following five specialized departments:

Biomaterials & Scaffolds: Researching polymers, microspheres, and biocompatible drug delivery systems.
Design & Prototyping: 3D modeling, electronics design, and hardware fabrication for medical devices.
Healthcare Software & AI: Developing secure, clinical-grade applications and predictive AI models.
Translational Research: Bridging the gap between laboratory proof-of-concept and market-ready solutions.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Mastering the documentation, testing, and safety standards (FDA/ISO) required for global certification.

Modalities:

Eligibility: Graduates from OIC Member and Observer States holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant STEM fields.
Duration: 4 Weeks (On-site)
Air Travel: Round-trip economy air travel will be provided by COMSTECH to selected International Candidates.
Local Hospitality: Revive Medical Technologies (RMT) will provide local hospitality, including accommodation, internal transport, and meals.
Venue: Revive Medical Technologies Inc., Plot # 2-A. St # W-1, Rawat Industrial Area, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
