OIC- Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) is pleased to announce the “ Exhibition and Seminar on Research, Processing, and Product Development of Herbal Mediicnes: Integrating Traditional Healing Practices into National Healthcare Systems.” At the COMSTECH Secretariat, 33-Constitution Avenue, G-5/2, Islamabad, Pakistan. This important Exhibition and Seminar is aimed to bring together playmakers, regulators, practitioners, industry experts, traditional practitioners, researchers, and healthcare professionals to deliberate and advancing herbal medicines, promoting sustainable processing techniques, research, enabling the integration of traditional healing practices into main national healthcare systems.   

The seminar will focus on:
1. Showcasing research advancements in medicinal plants, and phytopharmaceuticals.
2. Highlighting modern processing technologies, and quality control mechanisms.
3. Promoting product development, aligned with international standards.
4. Facilitating collaboration between researchers, regulators, industry, and traditional practitioners.
5. Encouraging the integration of validated traditional healing practices into mainstream Systems,
6. Working towards the compilation of “National Herbal Pharmacopoeia”

This Exhibition and Seminar will provide an important and interactive platform for Unani Tabeeb, health policy makers, academicians, regulators, researchers, pharmacists, homeopathy   practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to exchange their knowledge, share experinces and intergration of Unani, Homeopathy and other Traditional practices into main national healthcare system.
