Introduction and Objectives:
The conference is expected to focus on identification of the missing policy tool
and respective role of the public and private sector in building of the
innovation systems in OIC Member States. Innovation policies of the selected
member states in the political, social, economic and managerial context will be
reviewed and case studies presented in the national context as well as of best
international practices.
Acceptance of participation will be on the basis of review of the submitted
articles/ presentations by the Conference Review Committee upon novelty,
academic quality and relevance to the theme of the conference. Accepted participants will be
informed by September 10, 2012. Full
paper length written in English language should not exceed 8000 words. The
abstract describing purpose of research, major research findings and conclusions
should not exceed 200 words.

Local Hospitality and Travel
COMSTECH will provide local hospitality including accommodation and meals to a
limited number of selected participants. Economy class return air ticket will be
provided to keynote speakers selected on merit. Pick and drop service from the
airport is also provided on arrival and departure of the participants.

You will receive an acceptance email soon after the deadline, if you are
selected for the conference.

Step 4:
Local participants will be required to deposit registration fee of PKR 2,000 in favor of COMSTECH by September 17, 2012. Foreign
participants will have to deposit their registration fee of US$ 50 at the time
of registration on the first day of the conference. Further instructions
regarding fee submission will be provided to the successful candidates through
email.
